Digana, Sri Lanka - June 15-16, 2024 – The Voice of the Plantation People Organization (VOPP) successfully conducted a transformative two-day residential leadership training workshop at the Oruthota Chalet Hotel. The workshop brought together selected Malaiyaha women leaders and volunteers from the Matara and Galle districts, aiming to enhance their leadership skills and empower them to effect positive change in their communities.
The VOPP staff also actively participated in the
workshop, contributing to the collaborative and dynamic environment. The
interactive sessions included discussions, group activities, and real-life
scenario analyses, fostering a deeper understanding of leadership principles
and practical applications.
This leadership training workshop marks a significant step forward in the VOPP's ongoing efforts to empower Malaiyaha women leaders.
