Empowering Women Leaders: VOPP Hosts Leadership Training Workshop in Digana

Digana, Sri Lanka - June 15-16, 2024 – The Voice of the Plantation People Organization (VOPP) successfully conducted a transformative two-day residential leadership training workshop at the Oruthota Chalet Hotel. The workshop brought together selected Malaiyaha women leaders and volunteers from the Matara and Galle districts, aiming to enhance their leadership skills and empower them to effect positive change in their communities.

Facilitated by the esteemed Mrs. Indrani Rajendran, a renowned resource person in leadership development, the workshop saw enthusiastic participation and engagement from all attendees. Mrs. Rajendran's sessions focused on equipping the participants with essential leadership skills, strategies for community mobilization, and techniques for effective advocacy.

The VOPP staff also actively participated in the workshop, contributing to the collaborative and dynamic environment.
